At Victory Center Church in Round Rock, Texas, just north of Austin, we believe in the transformative power of gospel music to uplift the spirit and unite our community. Our worship services are a vibrant blend of contemporary and traditional music, creating an atmosphere of joy and reverence that touches the hearts of all who attend.
A Blend of Contemporary and Traditional Music
Each service at Victory Center Church lasts about 90 minutes, filled with a dynamic mix of gospel music. Our worship team leads us in singing both contemporary and traditional songs, ensuring that there is something for everyone to connect with. The music is carefully selected to resonate with our diverse congregation and to enhance our worship experience.
Our Senior Pastor, Edwin Pope, is a musician and Gospel recording artist. He has been a pianist/keyboardist, singer, and songwriter since he can remember. “I began playing one Sunday morning when my dad’s primary musician did not show up. I never saw it as work, it was an offering from my hands to the Lord.”
Pastor Pope’s latest project, PRAYZ, showcases styles and melodies derived from early Gospel music to the contemporary digital arrangements of today. “PRAYZ” is expected to release in September of 2024.
